Billboard Demolition on JPO Begins

Jakarta Transportation Dept starts to demolish unauthorized billboards that attached on the people pedestrian bridge (JPO) in Jakarta.

It's started from a billboard at Transjakarta Sumur Bor JPO that was demolished on Thursday (10/6), at around 8 PM. And continued with Warung Jati Barat and Pondok Indah JPOs tonight

As the initial stage, the dept will demolish billboards at Transjakarta Sumur Bor JPO in West Jakarta, Reguler Warung Jati Barat JPO in South Jakarta and Reguler Pondok Indah JPO in South Jakarta. 

Billboards in Three Crossing Bridges will Be Controlled

"It's started from a billboard at Transjakarta Sumur Bor JPO that was demolished on Thursday (10/6), at around 8 PM. And continued with Warung Jati Barat and Pondok Indah JPOs tonight," said Andri Yansyah, Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept, Friday (10/7).

The other billboards that located at Reguler JPO, Jl Warung Jati Barat and reguler Pondok Indah JPO will be demolished today, Friday (10/7) at 9 PM. Demolishment is conducted gradually by closing parts of roads.

"We'll demolish those billboards gradually," he told.

Hence, the road user is appealed to avoid such roads and follow the officers' direction and traffic signs in the field.
